Researchers at the University of Florida, USA, have discovered that exercise boosts your body image - even if weight loss doesn't occur.
The study found that people not only look healthier after exercise they also feel fitter and healthier, even if the actual exercise programme being performed isn't hard enough to make you fitter or lose excess weight.
This study falls in line with other studies that show the benefits of exercise includes feeling more positive, relaxation, improved fitness and a more healthy outlook on life.
