Working with children in kids clubs and kids camps
Kids clubs, camps or childcare jobs have been a growth sector the last few years, as the government has encouraged employers to offer childcare and offered mothers incentive to get back to work (there can bee seen to be a lot still to do here which could give greater growth). To work with children you will at the very least need to be police checked and cleared, most roles will require you to have a basic childcare qualification such as an NVQ in childcare or coaching.
The sorts of jobs we see most frequently working with children are:
- After schools clubs/activities
- Crèche workers and leaders
- Sports coaches
- Activity leader jobs
