Spa 1877 is housed in the nationally acclaimed Victorian Turkish Bath in one of Sheffield’s, South Yorkshire, major landmark buildings. The former Glossop Road Swimming Baths – a focal point for generations of Sheffield people.

Hair 1877 nestles directly beneath Spa 1877 in the basement rooms that once housed the burners and boilers used to heat the swimming baths.

The original baths were built in 1836 for the first public baths in the city. It wasn’t until 1877 that the swimming baths a hairdresser shop and the nationally acclaimed Turkish Bath were opened and assembled as the finest in the Kingdom. This is where Spa 1877 & Hair 1877 take their name from today.
