Flexor Carpi Ulnaris
To the bottom of the forearm muscle group, the flexor carpi ulnaris muscle is responsible for the flexion of the wrist, and best trained during wrist flexor exercises, and during gripping.
Having a high population of slow twitch fibres, the flexor carpi ulnaris would may be best trained using a higher repetition range. It is little wonder why such a heavily used muscle has an abundance of slow twitch fibres, contracting many time during the day to perform gripping and other activities.
