Holding onto dumbbells for as long as possible is an obvious way of improving finger, forearm and grip strength and endurance. The weight can be increase, and the trainer can attempt to hold the same weight for a greater time period to progress.
Performing static dumbbellholds
Find dumbbell of a suitable weight for you to execute the hold.
- Grasp dumbbells in each hand.
- Keep torso erect, and back straight.
- Hold onto dumbbells for desired amount of time. Keeping back straight and good body posture throughout execution.
