Pectoralis Minor
The small pectoralis minor is situated beneath the larger pectoralis major, and is responsible for the stabilisation of the scapula. Being recruited during many back exercises via scapula rotation, the small muscle is also recruited as a stabiliser and aid in many chest exercises, such as the bench press and fly. Being involved in a wise range of exercises in a synergist role, the pectoralis minor will be stressed and strengthen from a balanced routine, with exercises performed in the correct manner.
